Originally hailing from Washington, DC. Mikumari fined tuned his love for the arts at Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts and continued his formal education through Mason Gross School of the Performing Arts at Rutgers University. Since then, Mikumari has taken his talent globally in an effort to save lives through Artistic Expression. 

 

Caiyhe, one of the industry’s most innovative artists, returning after 2 years with his much-anticipated second solo album, "illuminate forever." Taking Hip Hop/SpokenWord Poetry to the next level, Caiyhe creates an immersive experience about life, passion, persistence, love, commitment and optimism. Enhancing the experience: a rich, melodious soundscape--accented by compelling poetry--that fully integrates the musician’s broad scope of musical influences and theater sensibilities.

 

A true altruist, giving back is another constant in Mikumari's life. He, currently serves as the Vice President of Slam Global Enterprises. 

Also, as an educator and arts advocate, Mikumari is contracted by The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Boys And Girls Club of America, The YMCA, and many other ares agencies to facilitate art residencies and workshops teaching literary arts, acting, and ballroom dance.

 

Currently, Mikumari is on Nationwide tour while working on his first book of Poetry and his second Hip Hop album "illuminate forever."
